The successful candidate will hold a South Dakota architect license, exhibit exceptional project management skills, and possess a drive to foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design process from conceptualization to construction documents, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and team members.
• Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and construction documents. Oversee construction administration, ensuring projects are designed within budget and to client satisfaction.
• Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure projects adhere to building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements. Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors to address design challenges and ensure construction aligns with the intended design.
• Team Management and Mentorship: Manage project teams, mentor junior staff, and maintain clear communication channels among team members and clients.
• Continuous Improvement: Enhance the design and documentation process to optimize efficiency and quality. Attend client meetings, presentations, and project interviews to uphold project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 5 years of architectural design and project management experience
• Licensed Architect in South Dakota or ability to obtain a license within 6 months of hire
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong design and technical skills, with a focus on commercial, institutional, and residential building types preferred
• LEED Accreditation is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
